All expatriates, meeting the criteria set by the Ministry, can bring their family, friends, and relatives to Qatar.

Qatar Family Visit Visa Criteria

The Qatari government has specified criteria for both the residents and the visiting family members. Although it changes from time to time, certain conditions remain unchanged. If you are an expatriate and want to bring your family to Qatar on a family visit visa, you can apply online through the Metrash2 application. The step-by-step process is as follows:

Qatar Family Visit Visa Apply Metrash2 App

Download and install the Metrash2 application on your mobile. If you are an Android user, download it from Google Play. The app is also available on the Apple Store for iOS users.
Now, open the Metrash2 application and log in to your account. Remember that if you do not have a Metrash2 account, you can sign up using your Qatar ID, Passport, and some other documents.
When you log in to your account, you will see a tab labeled “Visa.”
Clicking the Visa tab, you will land on the next screen.
Navigate to the “Issue Visa” tab and select “Family Visa Application” from the dropdown menu.
Now, click on “New Visa Application,” and a form will open on the screen asking you to fill up the personal details of the visitor. Usually, these details include Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Relation with you, and Passport details.
Validate the details by clicking the button on the bottom right of your mobile screen.
